CSR/Shipping/Purchasing

I. BASIC FUNCTIONS

· Responsible for interfacing with customers and sales representatives relative to products, orders, pricing, and coordination of product shipments (including sample products) to customers and sales representatives to ensure timely and accurate deliveries.

· Purchasing of routine and non-routine materials

· Inventory management

II. RESPONSIBILITIES

· Receive and process customer orders including packaging, shipping, CofA creation and invoicing

· Interact with Production to better predict delivery schedules

· Order chemicals and supplies

· Maintain the DMI Production chemical inventory including periodic physical checks

· Maintain the DMI R&D chemical inventory database and SDS files

· Co-manage the Purchasing reporting function at the ISO9001:2015 management review meetings including supplier assessments

· Maintain shipping supplies

Personnel in this position are responsible for routine collection of hazardous waste satellite storage containers and transfer of waste containers to appropriate hazardous waste storage/shipping containers. Tasks involved may include:

· Collection and transfer of solvent, resins, contaminated wipes and associated debris to storage/transport drums located in hazardous waste storage area.

· Collection and transfer of solvent waste satellite collection containers to hazardous waste storage area.

· Decanting of waste solvent from satellite collection containers into storage/transport drums in the hazardous waste storage area.

· Labeling of hazardous waste containers.

All employees of DESIGNER MOLECULES, INC. who manage, perform or verify work affecting quality have the responsibility and authority to:

· Participate in the continuous improvement of the DMI Quality Management System

· Initiate action to prevent the occurrence of product non-conformity;

· Identify and record any product quality problems;

· Initiate, recommend or provide solutions through designated channels;

· Verify the implementation of solutions;

· Control further processing of non-conforming product until the deficiency or unsatisfactory condition has been corrected.

· Represent and act on all business-related DMI matters to ensure the accurate, on time product deliver and 100% customer satisfaction.

VI. JOB SPECIFICATIONS AND COMPETENCIES

· B.S. degree or comparable experience in a related field (CSR/inventory management/purchasing)

· Proficient in comprehensive math skills including basic statistics

· Computer proficient (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

· Excellent oral and written communication

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $21.00 - $26.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
