Develop and implement a comprehensive curriculum that adheres to educational standards, nurtures holistic child development, and caters to the unique needs of students in both locations. Additionally focus on supporting and improving the professional development of teachers through effective training, observation, and feedback, ensuring a skilled and motivated teaching staff.
Curriculum Oversight and Development
· Oversee the curriculum implementation in UAE, ensuring a seamless educational experience.
· Guide and support dedicated staff in applying best practices for effective teaching methods.
· Prepare detailed curriculum maps for all age groups across three terms, collaborating on captivating themes.
· Plan sub-themes and create a comprehensive long-term educational plan.
· Conduct regular evaluations of curriculum effectiveness and adjust as required.
· Ensure alignment with educational standards and the unique and age-appropriate needs of students.
· Stay updated on educational trends and research to enhance the curriculum continually.
Professional Development and Training
· Perform weekly responsibilities such as checking lesson plans, reviewing newsletters, procuring resources, and conducting periodic observations to uphold educational quality.
· Develop assessment tools to measure student progress and adjust the curriculum as needed to meet evolving educational needs.
· Actively observe teachers, providing constructive feedback to support their ongoing professional growth.
· Conduct regular training sessions on various subjects for staff of Orange Seeds aiming to enhance their skills and keep them updated on best practices.
· Create visually engaging presentations for training sessions to add an interactive dimension to the learning experience.
Support the overall growth of all staff members of Orange Seeds contributing to a motivated and skilled teaching team.
Parent and Community Engagement
· Participate in and facilitate parent workshops, that serves to create a strong and supportive community connection.
· Organize workshops and events to involve parents in their child's learning journey enhancing the collaborative nature of our educational environment.
· Create educational content for Educore during camp times, extending our impact beyond our locations.
Resource Management and Events Coordination
· Source and buy resources for classrooms, ensuring a well-equipped learning environment that supports the dynamic curriculum.
· Collaborate with the manager to plan and execute events, overseeing decor and ensuring smooth event operations.
Administrative Collaboration and Additional Responsibilities
· Work with administrative staff to resolve issues promptly, contributing to the smooth running of the nursery.
· Step in for teachers in case of absence, ensuring continuity in the educational experience maintaining stability for the students.
· Be ready to lend a hand with additional tasks when colleagues in OS are unavailable, ensuring a seamless workflow and strong team support.
Educational qualifications (Minimum educational background required to execute the role):
· Bachelor’s degree in Early childhood education, Curriculum Development, Montessori education, Elementary Education, or a related field.
Relevant certifications in Montessori education, valid teaching certification.
· CDA certification in early childhood education.
