Custodial Supervisor

Position Overview:

We are seeking a dependable and experienced Cleaning Supervisor to oversee and support our team of cleaners and custodians. This role is responsible for ensuring high-quality service delivery, maintaining company standards, and leading by example in professionalism, accountability, and work ethic.

The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and confident managing teams in commercial cleaning environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise, train, and support cleaning staff across assigned properties

• Conduct routine inspections to ensure quality standards are consistently met

• Address performance issues and provide coaching when necessary

• Ensure all staff follow company policies, safety procedures, and client expectations

• Manage scheduling, coverage, and time tracking

• Communicate with clients and management regarding service updates or concerns

• Monitor inventory and ensure proper use of cleaning supplies and equipment

• Step in to assist with cleaning duties when needed

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in commercial cleaning or custodial services required

• Prior supervisory or leadership experience preferred

• Strong organizational and time management skills

• Ability to lead, motivate, and hold a team accountable

• Strong communication skills (verbal and written)

• Reliable transportation

• Ability to lift 50+ pounds and be active for extended periods
