The primary purpose of the Customer Business Solutions is to drive the development and implementation of Business Solutions (web platform, EDI, reports and dashboards) for our customers. The position is responsible for acting as a strategic partner to clients, understanding their unique business needs, and delivering standard solutions or tailored freight forwarding solutions that optimize supply chain performance.

Pre-Sales

  • Design and Present Business Solutions to customers
  • Promote standard solutions, our EDI/API interfacing capabilities, and e-booking benefits
  • Capture customer needs and identify related requirements (reports, EDI…) as well as specifics
  • Present and promote existing business solutions to Sales/ BD teams, ensuring they are aware of the overall IT solutions.
Solution Implementation:
  • Validate Solution Design with all CBS and Customer Service involved in the traffic. Manage the project activities related to the Business Solutions.
  • Identify non-standard requests and build alternative solutions.
  • Configure all necessary Business Tools (or ensure they are properly setup) – such as web access for customers, application specific setup etc.
  • Coordinate and be part of the EDI/API project with customer and CEVA Business Analysts.
  • Configure Standard Report or create custom reports when required such as Tracker for EDI flow monitoring, KPI etc.
  • Provide tools (Missing report/dashboards) to the teams in charge of Data Quality for Internal control (Missing Report)
  • Complete the relevant documentation related to Business Solutions and handover to Operations (BPS, Customer service) when the customer specific impacts the work instructions.
Roll-Out:
  • EDI / Reports: Detect potential issues and either resolve them or co-ordinate corrective actions
  • Fine-tune Customer reports and KPIs
Run:
  • Pro-actively promote our Business Solutions, especially during Client QBRs
  • Train our customers in Business Solutions
Continuous Improvement:
  • Take part in Continuous Improvement initiatives when Business Solutions can improve our productivity (EDI, Automatic Report, Streamline Process)
  • Return on experience (RETEX) management
  • Contribute to solution enhancements by submitting 'request for evolution' tickets and drafting user stories, in coordination with Regional and Global CBS teams
  • Participate and actively contribute to innovation and transformation projects that involve the Web Platform, Customer Reporting, or Customer EDI, ensuring alignment with solution requirements
