Duties and Responsibilities of a Customer Service Agent

  • Respond to Customer Inquiries
  • Handle incoming calls, emails, live chats, or social media messages promptly and professionally.
  • Provide accurate, valid, and complete information based on company policies and products.
  • Resolve Complaints and Issues
  • Listen actively to customer concerns.
  • Identify and troubleshoot problems, escalating unresolved issues to the appropriate departments when necessary.
  • Follow up to ensure resolution and customer satisfaction.
  • Process Orders and Requests
  • Assist customers with placing, modifying, or canceling orders.
  • Ensure all transactions are recorded correctly in the company system.
  • Maintain Customer Records
  • Update and manage customer profiles with accurate contact details and interaction history.
  • Document all communications and actions taken during customer interactions.
  • Promote Products and Services
  • Inform customers about new products, promotions, or additional services.
  • Upsell or cross-sell when appropriate to meet customer needs and company goals.
  • Collaborate with Other Departments
  • Work closely with sales, technical support, logistics, and other teams to resolve issues efficiently.
  • Share customer feedback to help improve products and services.
  • Follow Company Procedures
  • Adhere to standard operating procedures, quality standards, and compliance requirements.
  • Protect customer privacy and handle sensitive information securely.
  • Meet Performance Metrics
  • Achieve targets related to response time, resolution time, customer satisfaction, and call handling.
  • Participate in regular training to improve knowledge and performance.
  • Handle Returns and Refunds
  • Assist customers with return processes, refund requests, and warranty claims, in line with company policies.
  • Maintain a Positive Brand Image
  • Represent the company in a friendly, empathetic, and professional manner at all times.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From QAR2,500.00 per month
