Customer Service Billing Clerk

Duties

• Process and verify customer invoices using accounting software such as Macola es, ensuring accuracy in billing data entry and account reconciliation.
• Manage accounts receivable by monitoring outstanding balances, following up on overdue payments, and resolving billing discrepancies through effective negotiation and communication.
• Perform account analysis to identify discrepancies or anomalies, applying GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) standards to ensure compliance.
• Reconcile accounts regularly to maintain accurate financial records, including journal entries related to revenue cycle management and double entry bookkeeping practices.
• Handle data entry tasks with precision using 10 key typing skills while maintaining phone etiquette when communicating with customers or internal teams regarding billing issues.

Requirements

• Proven experience in accounting or financial services roles with a focus on accounts receivable, accounts payable, Logistics knowledge very helpful.
• Strong understanding of financial concepts including debits & credits, account reconciliation.
• Proficiency in accounting software such as Macola es, experience with this is a plus.
• Excellent analysis skills combined with attention to detail for accurate account analysis and error resolution.
• Professional phone etiquette for customer service interactions related to billing inquiries.
• Ability to perform data entry efficiently using 10 key typing skills while maintaining accuracy under pressure.
• Strong mathematical aptitude for handling complex calculations involving debits & credits and financial analysis tasks. While providing outstanding customer support!

Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
