Customer Service / Dispatcher

What We’re Looking For:

We’re searching for a positive, solutions-focused individual to join our team as our primary Customer Service Representative. This person will be the first voice our customers hear, so a friendly attitude and a strong sense of urgency are key. The ideal candidate is dependable, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and brings a “how can I help?” mindset to every call.

This is a full-time, closing shift position: Monday–Friday, 9:30 AM to 6:00 PM.

Key Responsibilities:

• Answer incoming calls by the second ring and provide clear, helpful information regarding plumbing and pumping services
• Schedule service appointments based on technician availability, job type, and customer needs
• Monitor and assist with the inbound email inbox for work orders and inquiries
• Accurately identify and categorize types of jobs based on training
• Assist teammates with additional tasks and day-to-day operations as needed
• Perform daily opening/closing duties related to the customer service team
• Occasionally assist with night and weekend phone coverage (rare, and typically voluntary)

Skills & Requirements:

• Previous experience in a customer service or call center environment
• Excellent retention and recall skills – you’ll need to learn and apply a variety of job types and processes
• Multitasking ability is essential – juggling calls, scheduling, and emails will be part of the daily flow
• Reliable and punctual, with strong adherence to attendance and company policies
• Professional and clear verbal communication skills
• Strong time management and ability to prioritize in a fast-paced setting
• A team player with an upbeat, adaptable, and proactive attitude
• Must be able to pass a drug test and background check
