Customer Service Representative

About the Role

As a Customer Service Representative on the Premium Accessories team, you'll be the voice of Bestop — providing efficient, courteous, and knowledgeable assistance to our Warehouse Distributors, their customers, and end consumers. This is a vital role: you'll solve problems, guide installations, and make sure every customer experience is an exceptional one. You'll work onsite at our Westminster, CO headquarters, collaborating closely with a supportive team.

Compensation & Hiring Range

In compliance with Colorado's Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the hiring range for this position is:

$21.00 per hour (full-time, non-exempt)

Final pay is determined based on relevant experience, skills, and internal equity. This role is hourly and eligible for overtime pay during peak seasons in accordance with applicable law.

Recruitment Timeline

What You'll Do

  • Front-Line Support: Provide professional, courteous customer contact via phone, email, chat, and occasionally in person — handling high inbound call volume (75–100+ calls per day during peak periods).
  • Problem Resolution: Research and resolve customer concerns within established guidelines, with a focus on first-contact resolution and customer satisfaction.
  • Technical Assistance: Help customers with vehicle installations and provide product-specific technical support across our Bestop, Softopper, and Tuffy product lines.
  • Order & Data Management: Use our ERP system (NetSuite) for daily order entry, processing Return Material Authorizations (RMAs), and maintaining customer and order data across spreadsheets, email, and other systems.
  • Information Analysis: Read and interpret information from spreadsheets and internal systems to support customer inquiries and accurate data management.
  • Team Collaboration: Partner with the broader Customer Service, Tech Support, and Operations teams to keep customers moving and orders flowing.

What You'll Need (Required Qualifications)

  • 2–5 years of customer service experience, ideally in a call-center, retail, or product-support environment. Some upselling or sales involvement is a plus.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to assist customers clearly and professionally.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
  • Basic computer proficiency, including comfort with email, spreadsheets, and ERP/CRM systems. Ability to use a ten-key by touch.
  • Excellent organizational skills and a high attention to detail.
  • Willingness and ability to learn our product lines, vehicle applications, and installation guidance.
  • A collaborative spirit and strong teamwork skills.
  • Availability for an onsite, full-time schedule (Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.) with flexibility for overtime during peak seasons.
  • Currently located in Colorado, or planning to relocate to the Denver / Westminster area at your own expense prior to the start date. This position is onsite relocation assistance is not provided.
  • Authorized to work in the United States now and in the future without employer sponsorship (no visa sponsorship is available for this role).

Bonus Points (Preferred Qualifications)

  • Familiarity with Jeep, Bronco, or other 4x4 / off-road vehicles and aftermarket accessories.
  • Experience with ERP systems, preferably NetSuite.
  • Prior experience supporting Warehouse Distributors or B2B accounts in addition to consumer support.

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

  • This is an onsite role at our Westminster, CO headquarters; remote/hybrid is not available for this position.
  • Standard office environment with extended periods of sitting, computer use, and phone-based communication.
  • Occasional walking on the warehouse / showroom floor for hands-on familiarity with products.
