Customer Service Representative

Title: Customer Service Representative (Application Support)

Location: Atlanta, GA

Duration: 3-5 months

Compensation: $18/hr

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

Must haves/Job Description:

Our client is seeking Customer Service Agents to support a high-volume loan application surge during the 2026 peak season. This role operates as the loan application support center, handling inbound calls and guiding customers through the student loan application process.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle a high volume of inbound calls related to student loan applications

• Provide end-to-end support from application initiation through submission and servicing

• Maintain strong knowledge of Sallie Mae loan products and eligibility requirements

• Accurately document customer interactions in internal systems

• Deliver empathetic, clear, and compliant customer service


Ideal Experience

• Prior customer service or call center experience (financial services or education preferred)

• Comfort handling detailed and complex customer questions

• Strong communication skills and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
