We are seeking a Customer Service Specialist with 2–3 years of experience in freight forwarding to manage international and local customer accounts for import and export shipments. The role requires strong customer-handling expertise, end-to-end shipment coordination, and in-depth knowledge of shipping processes. Experience in handling pharmaceutical shipments will be considered a strong advantage.
Key Responsibilities:
- -Act as the primary point of contact for customers, catering to their specific shipping needs and service expectations
- -Handle international and local customers for import and export shipments
- -Manage end-to-end shipment coordination and follow-ups
- -Send arrival notices, shipment updates, and proactive status communications to customers
- -Prepare and share customized shipment updates, notifications, and customer-specific communications
- -Coordinate with carriers, overseas agents, customs, and internal teams
- -Handle and verify shipping documentation.
- -Resolve customer issues efficiently while ensuring service excellence
- -Ensure compliance with shipping regulations and internal SOPs
Requirements
- Min 2–3 years of experience in customer service within a freight forwarding or logistics company
- Strong knowledge of import/export operations (international & local)
- Hands-on experience in handling shipping documentation and processes
- Experience in pharma logistics is a plus
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong customer-centric mindset and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple shipments and prioritize tasks effectively
