Cybersecurity and Network Administrator

Job Summary:

The Cybersecurity and Network Administrator supports the organization’s IT infrastructure by maintaining secure and reliable networks. This role assists in monitoring network performance, implementing basic security measures, and responding to technical and security issues under the guidance of senior IT staff.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in configuring, monitoring, and maintaining LAN, WAN, and VPN connections.
• Support the setup and management of firewalls, routers, and switches.
• Monitor network performance and help troubleshoot connectivity or security issues.
• Assist in implementing cybersecurity policies and performing routine security checks.
• Respond to and document minor security incidents and system alerts.
• Develop, implement, and maintain cybersecurity policies, standards, and procedures.
• Manage user accounts, access permissions, and basic Active Directory tasks.
• Support system backups, updates, and software patching.
• Maintain network and security documentation.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree or diploma in IT, Computer Science, or Cybersecurity (or equivalent).
• Experience: 1 year of hands-on experience in IT, networking, or cybersecurity.
• Preferred Certifications: CompTIA Security+, Network+, or Cisco CCNA.
• Skills:
• Basic knowledge of network protocols, firewalls, and security tools.
• Familiarity with Windows and/or Linux systems.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs70,000.00 - Rs90,000.00 per month
