Cylinder Road Tractor–Trailer Operator

The Operator shall drive & Operate the Unit Tractor – Trailer (Tractor Head coupled with flatted trailer to transport LPG cylinders in pallets). Transportation is from Ras Laffan LPG Plant to Small medium Industry LP Plant.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate LPG tractor–trailer units safely for cylinder transportation

Conduct daily vehicle inspections and report defects

Follow traffic laws, dangerous goods regulations, and client procedures

Park the unit safely for loading/unloading LPG cylinders

Use provided devices correctly and be capable of operating a fire extinguisher.

Coordinate loading/unloading activities with authorized personnel

Report incidents, near misses, and emergencies immediately

Can be called anytime for emergencies and must wear required PPE.

Skills required include heavy vehicle maintenance skills, physical ability to work in hard conditions, and English/Arabic communication skills.

Minimum Qualifications:

Secondary education or equivalent

Valid Heavy Vehicle Driving License (Qatar)

Medically fit for heavy-duty operations

Minimum Experience:

Minimum three (3) years of driving experience, preferably in LPG or petroleum product transportation.

Training / Certification:

Defensive driving certification

Basic fire-fighting training
