DAE Diploma electrical Network Technician

Qualification: DAE Electrical 3 year diploma
Experience: 1-2 years

Job Description:

Daily monitoring, reporting, and timely execution of ongoing FTTH (Fiber to the Home) and GPON (OSP/ISP) projects

a. Monitoring Transport network on Network Management terminal (NMS).

b. Intimate to concerned staff about alarms on Transport NEs.

c. Coordinate with FMC & field staff for trouble shooting of fiber faults related to cuts, patch cord & section losses.

d. Perform testing with different test instruments (Optical power meter, Laser source, E1 tester, OTDR) for trouble shooting of faults in transport network.

e. Record keeping of various type of services working (E1, FE, GE, 10G, 100G) in Transport Network.

f. Coordinate with vendors & Executive staff for hardware failure issues of Transport, DSLAM & corporate NEs.

g. Clean filters and FAN modules of Transport & DSLAM NEs to ensure their normal operation as per weekly PMR schedule.

h. Coordinate with power plant team for normal working of AC units to maintain equipment room temperature in desired range.

i. Perform patching & laying work of fiber patch cords, E1 & FE cables on ODF, DDF, systems & fiber guides / runways in equipment room.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs37,000.00 - Rs50,000.00 per month
