Dairy Operations & Sales Coordinator

Job Summary

We are hiring a Dairy Operations & Sales Coordinator to support senior management in managing dairy farm operations and driving animal sales. The role involves coordinating with farm teams, handling customer relationships, managing culling-related sales, and preparing operational reports. Ideal for candidates with strong communication skills and interest in dairy operations and sales.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate with farm team for smooth execution of daily dairy operations.
  • Prepare monthly herd reports (calving, mortality, sales, culling, breeding).
  • Manage animal sales including customer handling, follow-ups, and claims resolution.
  • Handle culling and disposal-related animal sales on a regular basis.
  • Liaise with directors and senior management for approvals, updates, and reporting.
  • Manage social media marketing, including Facebook page handling for sales promotion.
  • Coordinate veterinary internship programs with Farm administration.
  • Assist in hiring of veterinary doctors and para-vet staff.
  • Facilitate farm visits and manage on-site customer interactions and deals.
  • Coordinate with Finance team for customer payments, receivables, and ledger management.
  • Monitor overall farm performance including milk production, animal health, breeding, calving, calf safety, mortality, and weight gain.
  • Maintain daily ICU and animal health reports for management review.
  • Ensure proper documentation and record-keeping of operations and sales activities.
  • Identify gaps in operations and propose improvements for productivity and sales growth.
  • Direct reporting to CEO/CFO and Director with regular updates and performance summaries.

Requirements:

  • DVM (Doctor of Veterinary Medicine) is mandatory
  • Minimum 3-5 years of relevant field experience in dairy operations and animal management
  • Experience in animal import and livestock procurement
  • Strong knowledge of herd management, breeding, health, and culling practices
  • Proven experience in animal sales and customer handling
  • Strong communication, coordination, and leadership skills
  • Proficient in MS Excel and reporting systems
  • Ability to work closely with senior management and handle field operations
  • Willingness to travel for farm visits and operational needs
