Duties

• Develop, maintain, and optimize comprehensive dashboards and reports using tools such as Tableau, Power BI, and Looker to visualize key metrics and trends.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment to gather requirements, define project scope, and deliver impactful data solutions.
• Design and implement ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes using Talend or similar tools to ensure accurate data integration from diverse sources like Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, and Linked Data.
• Conduct thorough business analysis to identify opportunities for process improvements and strategic initiatives based on data insights.
• Manage projects related to database design, schema development, and data architecture to support scalable analytics solutions.
• Write advanced SQL queries using R, Python, Bash (Unix shell), VBA, and other scripting languages to extract and manipulate large datasets efficiently.
• Support the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) by participating in planning, testing, deployment, and documentation of analytics projects.
• Utilize analysis skills to interpret complex datasets, identify patterns or anomalies, and communicate findings clearly through reports or presentations.

Qualifications

• Proven experience with data analysis tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Looker, R, Python, and SQL.
• Strong understanding of database management systems including Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle; experience with database design is a plus.
• Familiarity with ETL processes using Talend or similar platforms; knowledge of linked data concepts is advantageous.
• Ability to manage multiple projects within an Agile framework while adhering to SDLC best practices.
• Excellent business analysis skills with the ability to translate technical insights into actionable recommendations.
• Experience working with VBA macros and Bash scripting for automation tasks.
• Knowledge of analytics platforms like Visio for process mapping; familiarity with project management principles is beneficial.

Pay: $25.00 - $40.00 per hour
