About This Role
We are a growing restaurant group with 7 branches across Abu Dhabi. We are looking for a Data Analyst who will become a key member of our team — not just someone who produces reports, but someone who genuinely understands our business, Discuss with our people, and helps us see what we are missing.
This is not a desk-only role. You will spend time with branch managers and the sales team, understand what is happening on the ground, and bring the numbers and the reality together into clear, useful insight for management.
What You Will Do
Business Understanding
- Understand our restaurant operations inside and out — how we sell, when we sell, what sells, and what does not
- Discuss with branch managers and the sales team regularly — listen, ask questions, and understand the real challenges
- Connect the data to the reality on the ground — not just report numbers, but explain what is behind them
Data & Reporting
- Track daily sales performance across all 7 branches — by branch, time slot, and menu category
- Monitor our delivery platforms (Talabat, Careem,, Noon Food & others) — orders, ratings, basket size, cancellations
- Build a weekly performance dashboard — delivered every Monday, without being asked
- Produce monthly branch-level reports and present findings clearly to the Head of Business
- Analyse customer feedback from Google reviews, Online reviews, and our in-branch feedback system
Insight & Action
- Show us our weaknesses — where are we losing money, customers, or efficiency
- Flag problems before management notices them — do not wait to be asked
- Give every report a clear 'So what?' — what does this mean and what should we do about it
- Support the marketing team with data on campaign performance and promotions
- Help with seasonal analysis — Ramadan, Eid, summer, and other key periods
What We Are Looking For
Qualifications
- Degree in Business, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, or a related field
- 2 to 4 years of experience in a data analyst role — hospitality or F&B experience is a strong advantage
Technical Skills
- Advanced Microsoft Excel — pivot tables, Power Query, charts, and formulas
- Power BI or Tableau — building dashboards and visual reports
- SQL — pulling and querying data from databases
- Google Sheets and Google Looker Studio
- Python or R for data cleaning and automation (preferred but not mandatory)
AI & Modern Tools
- Must be familiar with AI tools — we actively use AI (Claude & Chat-GPT) across the business as a standard working tool
- Comfortable using AI to support analysis, automate repetitive tasks, and improve reporting quality
- Open to learning and adopting new tools quickly — we are a forward-thinking organization
Personal Qualities
- Strong communicator — able to explain data clearly to people who are not analysts
- Proactive — you spot the problem before being told there is one
- Detail-oriented — you take full ownership of the accuracy of your numbers
- A team player — you enjoy working with people across departments, not just sitting behind a screen
- Curious — you genuinely want to understand why, not just what
The Kind of Person We Want
We already have basic reports in the business. What we need is someone who goes beyond them. Someone who walks into a branch meeting with a point of view, challenges a manager when the numbers say something different, and leaves the room with a clear action on the table. If you are someone who gets excited about finding patterns, explaining stories through data, and genuinely helping a business improve — this role is for you.
