Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled
Data Analyst and Visualization Expert with extensive experience in Looker Studio (formerly Google Data Studio) to join our team at Gamecheck. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating/managing insightful, interactive dashboards and reports, enabling data-driven decision-making across the organization. Will work closely with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and deliver visualizations that provide clarity and actionable insights.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using
- Looker Studio to visualize key metrics and KPIs.
- Collaborate to define business requirements, ensuring that dashboards and reports align with business objectives.
- Extract, clean, and manipulate data from various sources (e.g., Bigquery databases, Google Analytics, Google Sheets, etc.) to feed into Looker Studio reports.
- Optimize and streamline reporting processes to improve efficiency and reduce manual efforts.
- Provide actionable insights and recommendations based on data analysis to support business decisions.
- Perform ad-hoc data analysis and reporting as requested by leadership or business teams.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data integration and visualization in Looker Studio.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in data visualization and analytics.
Qualifications:
Experience:
3+ years of experience in data analysis and data visualization, particularly with Looker Studio or similar visualization tools (Google Data Studio, Tableau, Power BI).
Skills:
- Strong proficiency in Looker Studio (creating custom reports, building dashboards, and connecting data sources).
- Proficiency in data manipulation using SQL and familiarity with Google Sheets, BigQuery, or other data sources.
- Strong understanding of data analysis techniques and the ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable visualizations.
- Experience with data integration, API connections, and connecting data from various sources to Looker Studio.
- Knowledge of Google Analytics, Google Ads, and other marketing data sources is a plus.
- Ability to collaborate with non-technical stakeholders to translate business needs into data-driven insights.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
Soft Skills:
- Strong communication skills to present data insights clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
