Experience
- 3-4 years of relevant professional experience in data center administration, systems management, and IT infrastructure.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design, implementation, and management of the Client Data Center infrastructure.
- Ensure high availability, disaster recovery, and business continuity for mission-critical Client IT systems.
- Manage virtualization platforms (VMware) and backup/recovery tools (Veeam).
- Conduct security audits and vulnerability assessments to ensure compliance with CEH and security best practices.
- Coordinate with Client IT leadership for capacity planning, storage optimization, and cloud integration strategies.
- Prepare and maintain SOPs for digital evidence handling to ensure compliance with government regulations and standards.
- Supervise system migrations, integration projects, and upgrades.
- Oversee Linux and Windows server administration, ensuring optimal configuration and performance.
- Troubleshoot hardware architecture issues and manage system management tools in client/server environments.
- Prepare and maintain IT services availability and continuity plans in line with Client requirements.
- Develop automated tools to assist Data Center operations teams with enhanced visibility and manageability.
- Assist in the design, implementation, and testing of Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery (BCDR) processes for the Data Center.
- Create, implement, and administer standard operating procedures (SOPs) for all work on critical data center facilities and equipment.
- Maintain detailed documentation, monitoring reports, and infrastructure diagrams.
- Provide IT support during emergency response operations.
- Perform any other tasks assigned by Client.
Core Skills / Requirements
- Hands-on experience with systems administration (Linux and/or Windows Servers).
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills for resolving complex system issues.
- Solid understanding of networking fundamentals (DNS, TCP/IP).
- Familiarity with scripting languages such as Bash and PowerShell for automation.
- Proven ability to execute process improvements to enhance efficiency and reliability.
- Demonstrated drive to analyze and dig deep into system/process details to solve complex technical or customer problems.
- In-depth knowledge of hardware architectures, system management tools, and client/server environments.
- Strong expertise in VMware virtualization and Veeam backup solutions.
- Proficiency in security practices, including system hardening and compliance audits.
- Experience with developing automated tools for operational efficiency.
- Strong knowledge of BCDR processes and SOP creation for mission-critical environments.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and documentation skills.
