Qualification & Experience:
Essential:
- DAE (HVAC / Refrigeration & Air conditioning) with 1 year of hands-on experience in handling Data Centre Cooling System operations.
Desirable:
- B Tech (HVAC / Refrigeration & Air conditioning) with 02 years of hands-on experience in handling Data Centre Cooling System operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Physical & online monitoring of Data Centre’s facility equipment.
- Monitor and maintain Data Centre cooling & electrical (UPS & PDUs) systems.
- Perform preventive maintenance to avoid downtime
- Troubleshoot and repair facility infrastructure issues
- Support installations of new IT equipment from a facilities side i.e checking of rack space, power availability & cooling
- Timely Handling of critical Alarms i.e. cooling & electrical system
- Respond to emergency situations like power outages or hardware failure impacts
- Work Shifts Weekend , Evening ,night and on-call to maintain 24/7 operations
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
Essential:
- Technical knowledge of Data Centre Cooling System & its operations
- Ability to handle critical alarms of Data Centre Cooling system
Desirable:
- Data Centre Cooling system alarms handling & its rectification
Training/Certification:
Essential:
- Training in Data Centre Cooling system
Desirable:
- Training in Data Centre Cooling, Fire Detection & Suppression System

- 3rd Div in academic career / weak academic profile.
- NUST employees with less than one year of service with NUST and / or absence of NOC from Head of Institution.
- In process of pursuing a required degree.
- Only selected candidates will be contacted and issued offer letter.
- Candidates serving in Govt departments, Armed forces may apply after seeking NOC from their respective parent department / organizations.
- Late / incomplete applications will be ignored.
- Only short-listed candidates will be considered / called for test / interview and no TA / DA will be admissible.
