Data Engineer

We are seeking a Data Engineer – Platform for a 4.5-month onsite assignment in Bahrain. This intermediate-level professional role focuses on data platform engineering, financial reporting, and regulatory compliance within the banking sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Consolidate and analyze financial data (budgets, forecasts, Balance Sheet, Profit & Loss)
• Build stored procedures and ETL jobs to reconcile transactions
• Contribute to data warehouse design, RDBMS, and database solutions
• Develop SQL Server T-SQL procedures/functions for batch processing and reporting
• Build SAS EG, SAS DI jobs; research and resolve discrepancies in financial data; manage month-end close

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science (BE in Computer Science & Engineering).
• 4–6 years, with at least 3+ years in SQL Server/Oracle and SAS tools.
• SQL Development, SAS EG, SAS DI.
• Banking and IT functional experience.
