Position Overview
The
Data Entry Clerk
will be responsible for accurately entering, updating, and maintaining data in various company databases and systems. This role requires exceptional attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work efficiently and accurately in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Enter and update customer, project, and product information into company databases.
Review data for accuracy and completeness, correcting any errors as needed.
Maintain and organize digital and physical filing systems.
Prepare, compile, and sort documents for data entry.
Generate standard reports and provide data summaries as requested.
Communicate with team members to verify and clarify data.
Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
Perform general clerical duties to support office operations.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent (associate degree preferred).
Proven experience as a Data Entry Clerk, Office Assistant, or similar role.
Strong computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Excellent typing speed and accuracy.
Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines.
