Key Responsibilities:

- Collaborate with business teams to gather requirements and define reporting needs

- Analyze policy, claims, premium, and customer data to identify trends and opportunities

- Translate insights into clear, actionable business recommendations

- Automate recurring reports and KPIs using SQL and BI tools

- Build and maintain dashboards in Power BI, Metabase, and Excel

- Conduct ad-hoc analysis on topics like loss ratios and customer churn

- Support strategic initiatives including campaign performance and business case evaluations

- Work closely with Data Engineers on data integration, flow, and quality

- Contribute to predictive modeling and advanced analytics with senior analysts/data scientists

- Uphold strong data governance practices, ensuring clean and consistent reporting


Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field

- 2–3 years of experience in the insurance industry

- Strong experience with Power BI, Metabase, and advanced Excel

- Proficiency in SQL and familiarity with relational databases (e.g., MSSQL)

- Experience with Python for data automation/analysis is a plus

- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills

- Ability to tell stories with data—translating numbers into business value

- Effective communicator with both technical and non-technical stakeholders

- Knowledge of data governance frameworks and best practices

- Solid business acumen, especially in insurance KPIs and operations

- Exposure to predictive analytics or working with data science teams is a strong advantage
