Basic Functions

  • Review and quality control of field data and coordination with the field

  • Process raw field data to project deliverables/drawings with ACAD Civil 3D

  • Data management, storage, filing, reporting

Key Responsibilities

  • Adjustment of survey observations

  • CADD production for survey projects, e.g. plan / profile alignments sheets, etc.

  • Quality assurance of survey data.

  • Maintenance of survey databases

  • Maintenance of survey data on computers within the department and archiving of data.

  • Maintain and update all survey software as needed.

Skills / Experience required

  • Experience in data processing for land and topographical surveys.

  • Extensive experience required in AutoCAD Civil 3D as a minimum.

  • Experience in data processing techniques, e.g. Leica LGO, CADD packages and familiarity with routines to transform between the two data sets.

  • Oil and gas experience preferred

  • Minimum 5 years related land surveying experience

  • Office-based data processing of field survey observations (GPS, Levelling, etc.)
