Quantity Surveyor

A quantity surveyor is responsible for the financial and contractual success of a construction project from start to finish. You will act as a financial expert, ensuring that all costs are managed effectively to keep the project financially healthy and profitable. Key responsibilities

  • Cost estimation and budgeting: Prepare detailed cost estimates, project budgets, and bills of quantities based on architectural plans.
  • Contract management: Develop, negotiate, and manage tender and contract documents.
  • Financial tracking and reporting: Track project expenses, monitor budgets, and prepare regular progress and financial reports for stakeholders.
  • Procurement: Source and procure materials and agree on the services of contractors and subcontractors.
  • Valuation and payments: Measure the work done on-site and process payments to subcontractors.
  • Risk management: Identify financial and commercial risks and advise on how to mitigate them.
  • Liaison: Act as a crucial link between clients, project managers, engineers, and contractors.

  • Must have 2-3 years of UAE experience in construction company
