Role Overview

The Research Engineer / Data Researcher will support the Chairman’s Office & Executive Affairs in product development, innovation, and technology strategy. The role focuses on market research, competitive analysis, technology scouting, and producing insights that support decision-making across automotive, mobility, technology, and product categories.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct market and industry research on trends, competitors, regulations, and emerging technologies.
Evaluate technologies, materials, and product concepts to support R&D and innovation strategies.
Collect and analyze data; prepare reports, dashboards, and executive presentations.
Monitor global and regional developments, technologies, and competitor activities.
Collaborate with Engineering, Design, R&D, Quality, Supply Chain, and Strategy teams.
Support special research projects, new business evaluations, and technology assessments.
Ensure documentation accuracy and compliance with ISO 9001:2015.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s in Mechanical, Automotive, Electrical/Electronic, Industrial, Materials, or Chemical Engineering.
1–3 years in research, market intelligence, R&D, or product development (preferred).
Fresh graduates with strong technical/research skills may also apply.

Skills & Competencies

Strong research and analytical skills.
Understanding of automotive systems (EV, ADAS, powertrain, materials, electronics).
Proficiency in Excel, Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools.
Ability to create clear, concise reports and presentations.
Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
Curiosity, critical thinking, and passion for technology and innovation.
