We are seeking a highly skilled and strategic Data Visualization Architect to lead the design and implementation of enterprise-grade dashboards and reporting solutions. This role will focus on Power BI as the primary visualization platform, while also leveraging Tableau for cross-platform integration and legacy support. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of data storytelling, user experience, scalable architecture principles and , and enterprise governance. The role is also need decent experience as a junior Data Architect or Data Engineer with understanding of Data Warehousing concepts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Architect and implement interactive dashboards and reporting solutions using Power BI and Tableau.

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate analytical needs into intuitive visualizations.

• Define and enforce visualization standards, governance, and best practices across platforms.

• Optimize performance and scalability of BI solutions across large datasets and complex models.

• Work with Data Engineers to perform Data Wrangling & Data Preparation that can be consumed by Tableau or PowerBI.

• Integrate data from various sources including ERP, Salesforce, Azure, Oracle, SQL Server using cloud-based ETL tools.

• Lead visualization strategy for enterprise data products and self-service analytics.

• Mentor and guide BI developers and analysts on visualization techniques and platform capabilities.

• Partner with data architects and engineers to ensure alignment with data models and pipelines.

• Stay current with emerging visualization technologies and recommend adoption strategies.

• Own and maintain documentation for visualization architecture, standards, and solution designs.

• Conduct and facilitate Communities of Practice to promote knowledge sharing, innovation, and continuous improvement in data visualization.

• Support governance initiatives by ensuring compliance with data policies, security protocols, and metadata management.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or related field

• 8+ years of experience in data visualization and BI architecture.

• Expert-level proficiency in Power BI (DAX, Power Query, Dataflows, Service).

• Strong working knowledge of Tableau (Desktop, Server, Prep).

• Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS) and data warehouses (Snowflake or Oracle).

• Solid understanding of data modeling, ETL processes, and performance tuning.

• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and deliver enterprise-scale solutions.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

• Preferred Skills

• Experience with Informatica, Matillion, or other ETL tools will be a plus.

• Knowledge of data governance, security, and metadata management.

• Certification in Power BI or Tableau is a plus.

Summary Pay Range:

$108,834.00 - $163,252.00
