About Us

SourceTeK, a portfolio company of The Services Tree, specializes in delivering top-tier technology solutions for clients across the globe. We are now expanding our team in Lahore and are seeking a skilled Database Administrator (DBA) to ensure the stability, reliability, and performance of our databases.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain SQL Server databases.
• Monitor database performance, implement tuning solutions, and troubleshoot issues.
• Ensure data security, backups, recovery, and disaster recovery planning.
• Support database migrations, upgrades, and version control.
• Collaborate with development and support teams to ensure smooth operations.
• Document processes and maintain up-to-date technical records.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Database Administrator (DBA), preferably with SQL Server.
• Strong knowledge of database security, backup & recovery, and performance tuning.
• Familiarity with monitoring tools (e.g., Zabbix, PRTG) is a plus.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) preferred.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and in a team.
