Daycare Teacher

Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Daycare Teacher to join our early childhood education team. The ideal candidate will be committed to fostering a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for young children. This role involves guiding children's development through engaging activities, ensuring their safety, and supporting their emotional and social growth. Experience with children, classroom management, and early childhood education principles are essential for success in this position.

Duties

• Plan and implement age-appropriate educational activities that promote cognitive, social, and emotional development
• Supervise and interact with children during play, meals, naps, and learning activities
• Ensure the safety and well-being of all children in the classroom at all times
• Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment conducive to learning and play
• Communicate regularly with parents regarding children's progress, behavior, and needs
• Assist with diapering, feeding, and other caregiving responsibilities as needed
• Support children with special needs or disabilities by implementing individualized care plans
• Manage classroom behavior using positive reinforcement techniques
• Follow all licensing regulations and company policies related to childcare

Qualifications

• Prior experience working with children in daycare, preschool, or similar settings
• Knowledge of childhood development stages and age-specific activities
• Certification in First Aid and CPR (or willingness to obtain upon hire)
• Strong classroom management skills and ability to create a nurturing environment
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with children, parents, and team members
• Ability to handle multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced setting
• Passion for working with children and supporting their growth and learning

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
