Position Summary
Montessori Haven is seeking a caring, reliable, and enthusiastic Montessori Assistant Teacher to support our lead teachers in the toddler and/or primary classroom. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about early childhood education and is either Montessori-experience or eager to learn the Montessori approach.
Key Responsibilities

Assist the lead teacher in implementing the daily Montessori curriculum

Maintain a calm, clean, and prepared classroom environment

Supervise children and ensure their safety and well-being at all times

Support children in their social, emotional, and academic development

Help with classroom set-up, organization, and cleaning

Assist during lunch, snack, toileting, and transitions

Communicate positively and professionally with parents and staff

Attend staff meetings and training as required
Qualifications
-
High school diploma or equivalent required

Experience working with young children (1–6 years old), preferably in a Montessori setting

Passion for working with children and interest in Montessori education

Patience, flexibility, and a nurturing disposition

Ability to follow direction and take initiative

Must pass background check and meet Texas childcare licensing requirements
