Responsibilities

• Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote learning, social skills, and creativity for children in a daycare setting
• Provide attentive infant care, toddler care, and preschool instruction with a focus on safety and developmental milestones
• Maintain a clean, organized classroom environment that encourages exploration and independence
• Monitor children’s behavior using positive behavior management techniques to foster respectful interactions
• Ensure all safety protocols are followed, including first aid procedures and emergency response readiness
• Collaborate with parents and guardians to communicate children’s progress and address individual needs or concerns
• Support children with special education needs or disabilities by adapting activities and providing inclusive care

Qualifications

• Prior experience working with children in daycare, preschool, babysitting, nannying, or classroom settings is highly preferred
• Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education best practices
• Certification in first aid and CPR is required; additional training in special education or working with individuals with disabilities is a plus
• Strong classroom management skills with the ability to handle diverse behaviors effectively
• Passion for caregiving, teaching, and supporting young children’s growth and learning
• Excellent communication skills to engage with children, parents, and team members confidently
• Ability to work flexible hours in a fast-paced environment dedicated to nurturing young learners

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
