We're seeking an experienced delivery coordinator / dispatcher to join our team and support our puppies getting to our customers safely! Position Description

As the first point of contact for our customers, and the most important aspect of our job is the safety and happiness of the puppies! The ideal candidate resides in Ohio and is knowledgeable about logistics, very organized and detail oriented, can communicate with delivery partners across the USA, recruit new partners, and build out a delivery network that will ensure the safety of our puppies.

Key Responsibilities:

• On-site support conducting tasks to help our adoption process
• Engage with customers via phone and email to coordinate a delivery time and day
• Engage with transport partners both flight and ground to ensure timing, and pick up details are met
• Provide personalized assistance and guidance to customers throughout the delivery experience
• Manage delivery details in an organized fashion on a daily basis
• Properly report and manage all delivery issues and triage any safety risks ensuring complete safety and wellness for our puppies
• Recruit new partners that are cost effective and meet our requirements
• Stay organized and effectively manage follow ups to customers, delivery partners, sales team and other team members
• Manage payout, receipt management and details

Qualifications:

• Logistics and dispatching experience
• Excellent follow-through and follow-up
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage and build rapport with customers and delivery partners
• Passion for animals and a strong understanding of different breeds and pet care preferred but not required
• Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple inquiries simultaneously.
• Startup or entrepreneurial experience is preferred.
• Ability to work remotely with demonstrated initiative, attention to detail and clear communication.
• Ability to use online communication tools such as a dashboard, and be able to log details of each delivery properly
• Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, if necessary to accommodate customer inquiries

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
