Delivery Manager/Lead

We are now looking for a Delivery Manager / Delivery Lead to join us in Istanbul, Türkiye, and contribute to building high-quality, end-to-end solutions that create real business impact.


Main Responsibilities

Project Delivery Leadership

Own the end-to-end delivery of software and technology projects, ensuring on-time, on-budget, and high-quality outcomes.

Plan, monitor, and manage all delivery processes to align with strategic business goals and client expectations.


Risk Management & Crisis Response

Proactively monitor project progress to identify risks, blockers, or deviations.

Report risks transparently to internal and external stakeholders and develop mitigation plans.

Lead crisis response initiatives when necessary to ensure delivery continuity and client trust.


Client Engagement & Communication

Maintain high-level, ongoing relationships with key client stakeholders.

Communicate clearly and regularly about delivery progress, risks, and improvement areas.

Collaborate with clients to build action plans and solutions that address project challenges and expectations.


Delivery Performance & Metrics Oversight

Track and analyze key delivery metrics (KPIs, SLAs, quality indicators, rework trends) across all engagements.

Identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, or recurring issues and lead resolution initiatives to optimize delivery performance.


Agile Team Leadership

Lead and support agile, cross-functional delivery teams, promoting a culture of ownership, transparency, and collaboration.

Ensure that resource allocation and utilization are optimized across projects.


Maturity & Process Optimization

Assess project and process maturity levels through structured analysis.

Lead continuous improvement programs based on maturity insights and performance data to drive scalability, consistency, and innovation in delivery practices.


Strategic Alignment & Governance

Ensure that delivery frameworks, methodologies, and quality standards are consistently applied and comply with OBSS internal policies.

Promote knowledge sharing and accountability across the delivery organization.


Sales Enablement & Growth Contribution

Understand evolving client needs within ongoing projects and identify upsell or cross-sell opportunities.

Partner with account and sales teams to shape new value propositions that meet emerging demands and strengthen client relationships.


Qualifications / Technical Skills

  • 6-9 years of experience in technology delivery, with a proven track record of managing end-to-end project lifecycles in dynamic, client-facing environments
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical field
  • Proven ability to manage risk, communicate transparently, and lead crisis resolution when necessary
  • Deep familiarity with delivery metrics (KPIs, SLAs) and data-driven decision-making
  • Strong background in managing client relationships, including escalation handling and improvement planning
  • Experience with maturity assessments, continuous improvement, and process governance frameworks
  • Hands-on experience with agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, or scaled agile) and leading multidisciplinary teams
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, both internally and externally
  • Fluency in English and Turkish, both written and verbal
  • Experience working with enterprise clients in a consulting or technology services environment is highly desirable
