About the Role

We are looking for a hands-on, operationally sharp Logistics & Delivery Operations Manager to own end-to-end delivery operations across our two brands — Matter Nutrition (meal plan subscriptions) and YellowBlock (cheesecakes and cheese boards). This is a sole-ownership role: you will be the single point of accountability for everything that moves out of our kitchen and into our customers' hands.

You will manage a mixed fleet of bike riders and van drivers across morning and night shifts, plan and optimize daily and weekly routes, and ensure every delivery reflects the quality and professionalism our brands are built on.

Key Responsibilities

Delivery Operations

  • Own and manage end-to-end delivery operations across both brands, from dispatch to last-mile completion
  • Serve as the primary escalation point for all delivery-related issues across shifts
  • Coordinate daily with kitchen and packing teams to align order readiness with driver dispatch timelines
  • Work closely with customer support to action delivery exceptions, urgent reroutes, and schedule changes driven by a dynamically changing customer location and delivery schedule

Route Planning & Optimization

  • Plan, assign, and optimize daily and weekly delivery routes across all riders and drivers, accounting for traffic patterns, delivery windows, multi-stop sequencing, and cost efficiency across the UAE
  • Operate and maintain routing tools and delivery management systems appropriate to the scale and complexity of operations
  • Track live routes across shifts, proactively intervening on delays or disruptions before they impact customers
  • Monitor and report on KPIs including on-time delivery rate, cost-per-delivery, and route efficiency

Team Management

  • Hire, onboard, manage, and where necessary offboard drivers and riders
  • Manage driver availability planning across rotating morning and night shift schedules
  • Track and document driver performance; provide structured feedback and enforce delivery standards
  • Ensure all team members adhere to delivery schedules set by the customer support and operations teams

Third-Party & Supplier Management

  • Manage relationships with third-party delivery suppliers and freelance riders, ensuring contractual compliance and service-level adherence
  • Evaluate and recommend supplier changes based on performance data

Asset Management

  • Own full traceability and accountability for all delivery assets including bikes, vans, thermal bags, and any other company-issued equipment
  • Implement and maintain a check-in/check-out system for all assets; conduct regular audits
  • Flag asset degradation, losses, or compliance gaps proactively

Quality & Brand Standards

  • Conduct daily quality checks of the delivery process — packaging integrity, driver presentation, customer interaction standards, and punctuality
  • Ensure every delivery touchpoint reflects the brand values of Matter Nutrition and YellowBlock
  • Identify process bottlenecks and implement continuous improvements to delivery operations

Reporting

  • Maintain accurate records of routes, driver activity, asset usage, and delivery performance
  • Provide regular operational reporting to the CEO

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in a delivery operations or logistics management role, with direct responsibility for route planning and driver team management
  • Proven experience operating across the UAE, with working knowledge of the country's geography, traffic patterns, and last-mile delivery landscape
  • Experience in F&B, meal plans, or FMCG last-mile delivery is strongly preferred
  • Hands-on proficiency with routing and delivery management software and digital tools
  • Strong command of English (required for communication with the management team)
  • Fluency in Urdu and/or Hindi (required for effective communication with the rider and driver team)
  • Demonstrated ability to manage across multiple shifts, including night shifts and weekends — flexibility is non-negotiable
  • Computer literate with the ability to manage digital tools, maintain records, and produce operational reports
  • Strong problem-solving skills and composure under pressure
  • Highly organized, systems-oriented, and able to operate independently without close supervision

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: AED6,000.00 - AED8,000.00 per month
