Demand Planner

JOB PURPOSE

Demand planner provides order execution support to the procurement team as directed to contribute to the fulfillment of procurement requirements in line with applicable policies and procedures.


Qualifications and Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business management or equivalent.
  • Strong analytical and reporting skills.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Experience: 1- 2 years of experience in buying & merchandising operations.



JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist the assigned team by facilitating communication with vendors, internal stakeholders, and other relevant parties to ensure the smooth exchange of information for the completion of merchandising planning processes.
  • Work closely with vendors to set, update, and validate planning inputs necessary for product supply, replenishment, and assortment refreshes.
  • Help prepare reports on merchandising activity status to keep sourcing management informed of progress, enabling informed decision-making.
  • Ensure the ideal assortment of managed brands is available in stores, with a particular focus on best sellers and high-performing locations.
  • Assist in executing the purchasing planning process for the relevant category, ensuring alignment with category guidelines and stock targets for optimal product availability.
  • Support the planning and execution of marketing activities, including product launches and relaunches, ensuring effective visibility and analyzing performance to achieve targeted ROI.
  • Help manage the transition of products and brands in coordination with category teams, ensuring a smooth phasing process and up-to-date store profiles.
  • Monitor market trends and provide reports and insights to internal customers to keep them informed of relevant developments and ensure continuous supply availability.
