Role Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Demand Planner to forecast product demand accurately and support inventory, production, and supply chain planning. The role plays a critical part in balancing product availability, stock levels, and business growth while minimizing waste and shortages.
Key Responsibilities

Develop accurate demand forecasts using historical data, market trends, and sales inputs

Collaborate closely with sales, marketing, and supply chain teams to align forecasts with promotions, launches, and seasonal plans

Monitor forecast accuracy and continuously improve planning models

Prepare demand plans at SKU, category, and channel levels

Analyze sales performance, trends, and variances against forecasts

Support inventory planning to optimize stock levels and reduce excess or obsolete inventory

Participate in S&OP meetings and provide insights to support decision-making

Maintain demand planning tools, data integrity, and reporting dashboards

Identify risks and opportunities in demand fluctuations and propose mitigation plans

Provide regular forecasts and performance reports to management
Requirements

Bachelors degree in Supply Chain, Business, Economics, or related field

3–6 years of experience in demand planning or forecasting, preferably within FMCG or retail

Strong analytical and numerical skills with advanced Excel proficiency

Experience with demand planning tools or ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, JDA, Anaplan, etc.)

Solid understanding of S&OP processes and inventory management

Ability to work cross-functionally and communicate effectively

Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills
