---Key Responsibilities
1. Production Planning & Scheduling

• · Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production plans based on sales orders, plant capacity, and inventory levels.
• · Develop and update mill-wise production schedules covering slitting, forming, welding, finishing, and dispatch activities.
• · Ensure optimum utilization of production lines and available resources to achieve delivery targets.
• · Balance workloads among multiple ERW mills and finishing lines to minimize idle time and maximize productivity.

2. Material Planning & Coordination

• · Plan raw material (HR/CR coil) requirements in line with the sales forecast, production plan, and current inventory status.
• · Coordinate with Procurement and Stores teams to ensure timely availability of coils, consumables, and tooling.
• · Prepare detailed slitting plans, ensuring correct coil width, grade, and thickness availability for each pipe size.
• · Monitor coil consumption, yield, and manage leftover materials efficiently.

3. Order Management & Coordination

• · Review customer orders, technical specifications, and delivery schedules in coordination with the Sales and Marketing team.
• · Convert confirmed sales orders into mill-level production plans and issue production orders accordingly.
• · Track progress of ongoing orders to ensure timely completion and dispatch.
• · Communicate daily production and dispatch updates to the Sales team and senior management.

• · Track daily production achievements versus planned targets and address bottlenecks proactively.
• · Adjust production schedules in response to machine breakdowns, coil shortages, or priority orders.
• · Collaborate with Production, Maintenance, and Quality teams to maintain a smooth and continuous flow of operations.
• · Analyze downtime, yield loss, and deviations to improve planning accuracy and future performance.

5. Data Management & Reporting

• · Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of production, materials, and inventory in ERP/MIS systems.
• · Generate daily, weekly, and monthly planning and performance reports for management review.
• · Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as delivery adherence, yield percentage, and material utilization efficiency.

6. Cost & Efficiency Optimization

• · Optimize production sequencing to reduce changeovers, setup losses, and coil wastage.
• · Maximize coil width utilization and minimize slitting scrap.
• · Support continuous improvement and productivity enhancement initiatives in coordination with the Operations team.

7. Team Leadership & Coordination

• · Lead and supervise the PPC team to ensure data accuracy, planning discipline, and effective cross-departmental coordination.
• · Train and develop team members in ERP usage, planning methodologies, and analytical tools.
• · Serve as a communication link between Sales, Production, Maintenance, Quality, and Dispatch departments.
