Procurement Engineer

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Procurement Engineer / Executive to join our team at Golden Link Industries LLC. The ideal candidate will be responsible for end-to-end procurement planning, material sourcing, vendor management, and ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of materials across various interior fit-out and construction projects.

Key Responsibilities
Procurement & Sourcing

• Manage the full procurement lifecycle: sourcing, evaluation, negotiation, and purchasing of materials and services.
• Prepare and process purchase orders through ERP systems.
• Conduct market analysis to identify suppliers, products, and technologies that support cost reduction and efficiency.
• Ensure quality and specification compliance of all materials ordered.
• Negotiate payment terms and delivery timelines aligned with project requirements.

Planning & Coordination

• Review and analyze project drawings, BOQs, and specifications to prepare procurement schedules.
• Coordinate closely with project engineers and division managers to forecast material and manpower requirements.
• Develop and maintain a procurement issue register for each project with mitigation actions.
• Collaborate on procurement planning using tools like Microsoft Project, Primavera, and Excel.

Vendor Management

• Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, vendors, and subcontractors.
• Track vendor performance in terms of pricing, quality, and delivery.
• Ensure compliance of supplier terms with contract requirements.

Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain records of delivery, stock logs, and material receipts.
• Ensure proper documentation in ERP for all purchase activities.
• Submit daily reports to Division Managers and General Manager/Managing Director.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, or a related field.
• Minimum 2-4 years of procurement experience in the construction, joinery, and interior fit-out industry.
• Strong analytical and negotiation skills.
• Familiarity with ERP systems and project management tools (Excel, Primavera, Microsoft Project).
• Excellent communication and vendor relationship management skills.
• UAE driving license is a must.

Pay: AED5,000.00 - AED7,000.00 per month
