Demand Planner

For our global business partner operating in the Pet Nutrition sector, for whom we provide recruitment consultancy services, we are looking for a Demand Planner.

Job Description :

• Lead the mid-term and long-term demand forecasting process for the Pet Nutrition category in Türkiye
• Create demand forecasts for a 1–3 year horizon (1-year mid-term forecast using bottom-up model and 2–3 years long-term forecast using top-down model)
• Assess risks and opportunities in the forecast to ensure a high level of forecasting accuracy
• Analyze internal factors such as sales history, distribution structure, customer and channel dynamics, as well as external factors including category growth, macroeconomic indicators and market data to support demand forecasting
• Facilitate Pre-DMR (forecast) meetings on a regular basis and ensure that decisions are reflected in the S&OP+ process
• Monitor forecast accuracy indicators (SFA, BIAS), conduct root cause analysis and propose improvement actions
• Lead internal demand planning projects to continuously improve forecasting processes in line with global best practices
• Act as a bridge between Sales, Category, Supply and Finance teams, providing updated sales forecasts, trends and demand insights
• Serve as the single point of contact for demand-related topics in Türkiye

Requirements :

• Minimum 4–5 years of relevant experience, preferably in Demand Planning, Sales Planning, Supply Planning or Production Planning
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
• Experience in presenting data-driven insights and influencing stakeholders
• Upper-intermediate or advanced level of English
