Dental Assistant

We are looking to hire a Dental Assistant who is excited about a fun and rewarding career in the Pediatric Dental field. This is a Full-Time position out of our Omaha location with competitive pay and great benefits!

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

• Someone who graduated from an accredited dental assisting program.
  • Coronal Polishing Certificate a plus!
• A great communicator that wants to make a difference in our patients care.
• Someone who thrives in a busy environment and is a team player.
• Eagerness to learn and provide extraordinary care to our patients.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Present the patient to the doctor.
• Clean the patient’s teeth.
• Fluoride application
• Take, expose and develop digital radiographs (bitewings, panoramic).
• Provide hygiene and diet education.
• Assist the dentist during treatment procedures in office or hospital.
• Take impressions.
• Schedule follow-up exams.
• Review schedule to make sure appointments are scheduled appropriately.
• Set-up and tear down dental chairs and operatory rooms.
• Parents consults-discuss treatment plans.
• Clean and sterilize instruments.
• Lab work.
• Restock supplies in rooms and sterilization area.
• Infection control & maintenance of OSHA guidelines.
• Participate in marketing endeavors
• Write letters to be sent to referrals.
