Orthodontic Dental Assistant

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide chairside clinical support during orthodontic procedures
  • Utilize digital 3D scanners and radiographic equipment
  • Capture high-quality diagnostic records
  • Maintain accurate patient documentation in compliance with HIPAA
  • Educate patients and parents on oral hygiene and post-treatment care
  • Prepare and break down treatment rooms following strict sterilization protocols
  • Anticipate doctor needs to maintain efficient appointment flow
  • Contribute to a positive, team-centered culture

Qualifications

  • Minimum 1 year dental office experience (required)
  • Orthodontic experience preferred
  • X-ray certification preferred
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Comfortable with digital systems and modern technology
  • Professional, punctual, and detail-oriented
  • Growth mindset and willingness to be coached

In the first 90 days, a successful team member will:

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 26 – 34 per week
