Dental Assistant

St. Thomas Dental is looking to add an experienced Dental Assistant to our growing practice!

We are a private, state of the art dental practice on St. Thomas seeking to provide the highest quality dental care possible.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Work with dentists, hygienists, and team members to deliver customer service oriented and patient centered care.
• Serve as chairside dental assistant to dentists as an Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA) or a surgical assistant, providing four hand dental assisting as needed.
• Greet, seat, and schedule patients as needed.
• Maintain stock of supplies throughout the clinic, and order as needed.
• Stock, prepare, organize, break down and clean operatories.
• Sterilize clinic instruments following appropriate infection control procedures.
• Take radiographs as needed.
• Maintain HIPAA, OSHA and Infection Control compliance at all times.
• Other duties as assigned.

An ideal candidate for this position would be curious, eager to learn, and understand the importance of working as a team.

Your compensation will depend on your experience in the dental field as well as your customer service experience and organizational skills. There is tremendous opportunity for growth with this position, both in title and in compensation.

Our hours are Monday-Friday, 8am – 4pm. No nights, no weekends.
