Job Title: Experienced Dental Assistant (Full-Time)

Location: Whiter Family Dentistry

Schedule: Full-Time | Monday – Friday

Monday 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Tuesday 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM

Wednesday 7:00 AM - 2:00 PM

Thursday 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Friday 9:00 AM - 2:00 PM

Job Description:
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate is organized, friendly, and committed to providing excellent patient care. In addition to assisting the dentist during procedures, this role will also include monitoring inventory, answering phones and placing orders for clinical supplies to help keep the office running smoothly.

Responsibilities:

• Assist the dentist during a variety of dental procedures
• Answer phone when needed
• Scheduling appointments
• Prepare and sterilize instruments and treatment rooms
• Take dental X-rays in accordance with state regulations
• Prepare patients for procedures and ensure their comfort
• Maintain accurate patient charts and records
• Follow infection control and sterilization protocols
• Monitor inventory and place orders for dental and clinical supplies
• Help maintain an organized and efficient clinical environment
• Provide excellent communication and patient support.

Qualifications:

• Prior dental assisting experience preferred
• X-ray certification
• Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization procedures
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to manage supplies and stay organized
• Friendly, professional attitude and strong teamwork skills
