Dental Assistant 2 yrs Required

We are seeking an All-Star Dental Assistant for our well established, fast growing, multi-doctor private practice. You will sustain patient comfort, soothe upset patients, listen to their needs and educate them on dental procedures. We provide general dentistry, cosmetic dentistry, orthodontics, periodontics, and implant dentistry. Minimum 2 years dental assistant experience is a MUST.

Requirements

• Take X-rays
• Good manual dexterity
• Ability to build rapport with patients
• Organize and maintain lab equipment,
• Sterilization of instruments and equipment
• MUST have minimum 2 years experience as a Dental Assistant
• Computer proficiency and the ability to learn new programs
• Providing excellent customer service to all patients and visitors
• Superior working knowledge of dental procedures and terminology
• Provide comprehensive post-operative dental procedures to patients.

Skills

• Capable of fabricating a temporary crowns and bridges
• Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods
• Understanding of health & safety regulations
• Ability to perform regulated non-surgical tasks like coronal polishing is a plus
• Good computer skills
• Excellent communication and people skills
• Attention to detail
• Well-organized and reliable
