Dental Assistant- Willing to train

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dental Assistant (willing to train) to join our dynamic dental team. Our hours are Monday to Thursday 7:45 am to 4 pm.

The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care while assisting the dentist during various procedures. This position requires excellent communication skills, and the ability to maintain a sterile environment in accordance with aseptic techniques.

Responsibilities

• Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures by preparing instruments and materials.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring compliance with infection control protocols.
• Perform dental imaging as required, ensuring accurate positioning and exposure for optimal results.
• Document patient information accurately in electronic health records, adhering to HIPAA regulations.
• Manage dental clinic systems, including scheduling appointments and coordinating patient flow.
• Utilize dental software systems such as Dentrix for efficient practice management.

Helpful skills:

• Knowledge of aseptic techniques and infection control practices.
• Familiarity with dental imaging procedures and equipment is highly desirable.
• Understanding of HIPAA regulations to ensure patient confidentiality.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for accurate dental documentation.
• Excellent interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with patients and team members.
