Dental Assistant/Patient Coordinator

Mercy Dental Group is currently hiring for a highly motivated, full-time Dental Assistant/Patient Coordinator located at multiple locations in the Madison, WI area.

Work Schedule:

Hours vary by clinic however most are:

  • Monday (7:30 AM - 4:30 PM) clinical hours
  • Tuesday (7:30 AM - 4:30 PM) clinical hours
  • Wednesday (7:30 AM - 4:30 PM) clinical hours
  • Thursday (7:30 AM - 2:30 PM) clinical hours
  • Friday hours may be available

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Chair-side assisting
  • Setting up treatment rooms in preparation for patients
  • Taking down and cleaning treatment rooms
  • Instrument sterilization
  • Stocking and cleaning treatment rooms, sterilization, and lab
  • Patient follow up calls
  • Taking x-rays and 3D images
  • Assist with greeting, scheduling, recare, and all front desk duties
  • Present treatment cases to patients with the goal of 80-90% case acceptance
  • Understand and navigate patients' dental insurance
  • The ability to step into various roles and wear different hats

Position Requirements:

  • Excellent verbal and written skills
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills; able to manage priorities and workflow with attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently
  • Ability to deal effectively with multiple personalities at all levels
  • Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm

Salary:

  • $22/hr - $27/hr
  • Based on experience

Experience:

  • Dental: 1 year of dental experience preferred
