```Duties``` - Perform dental hygiene procedures such as teeth cleaning, scaling, and polishing - Take and develop dental radiographs (x-rays) - Conduct oral health assessments and provide oral hygiene instructions to patients - Administer local anesthesia and nitrous oxide sedation as needed - Assist the dentist during dental procedures - Maintain accurate patient records and update medical histories - Educate patients on proper oral care techniques and preventive measures - Follow infection control protocols and maintain a sterile working environment ```Qualifications``` - Valid state dental hygiene license - Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Dental Hygiene - Experience working with pediatric patients is preferred - Proficiency in computer software programs such as CAD and Epic for medical coding and record keeping - Knowledge of infection control protocols and aseptic techniques - Familiarity with medical imaging techniques and interpretation of radiographs - Ability to take vital signs and monitor patient comfort during procedures - Understanding of HIPAA regulations for patient privacy and confidentiality Note: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive. Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour
