Dental Office Manager Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategic plans to enhance operational efficiency and achieve company goals.
- Supervise daily operations, ensuring that all processes run smoothly and effectively.
- Maintain a productive and efficient schedule to meet goals.
- Explain treatment costs, insurance benefits, and financial options clearly and compassionately.
- Prepare accurate treatment estimates and present payment plan options.
- Manage project timelines, resources, and budgets to ensure the successful completion of initiatives.
- Drive process improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and reduce waste.
- Manage scheduling for appointments and ensure efficient front desk operations
- Provide exceptional customer service to patients and visitors, addressing inquiries and resolving issues
- Utilize computer systems for data entry, appointment management and record–keeping
- Handle multi-line phone systems, directing calls appropriately and maintaining phone etiquette
- Lead marketing effort and maintaining a professional office environment
- Collaborate with team members to enhance office workflow and patient experience.
- Promote team engagement and positive reinforcement
- Manage a productive schedule for the office.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess operational effectiveness and implement necessary improvements.
Dental Office Manager Education and Experience:
- Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Health Management, or related field.
- Prior experience in dental or healthcare facility management: 3 years office management, or 5 years front office experience
- Exceptional organizational and leadership skills.
- Proficiency in practice management software and basic IT systems.
- Strong communication abilities, both verbal and written.
- Strong insurance background.
Compensation: $26 to $35 an hour based on experience plus bonus and commission.
