Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Dental Office Manager/Treatment Coordinator to lead our dental practice with enthusiasm and professionalism. Duties
- Oversee daily clinic operations, ensuring smooth workflow and exceptional patient care
- Coordinate patient treatment plans, explaining procedures, financing options, and scheduling follow-ups with clarity and confidence
- Manage billing, coding, insurance claims, and financial transactions using systems like Eaglesoft, Dentrix, or eClinicalWorks
- Supervise administrative staff, providing training, support, and performance evaluations to promote a motivated team environment
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations, JCAHO standards, and other healthcare policies to protect patient information and ensure quality care
- Oversee medical records management, including documentation accuracy in EMR (Electronic Medical Records) and EHR (Electronic Health Records) systems
- Monitor practice finances through budgeting, fiscal management, and financial reporting to optimize revenue streams and control expenses
- Implement human resources policies related to staffing, onboarding, training, and conflict resolution within the clinic setting
- Ensure adherence to medical terminology standards and manage medical administrative support tasks efficiently
Qualifications
- Proven experience in dental office management or healthcare practice management with a strong background in medical office operations
- Demonstrated supervisory experience leading teams in a clinical or medical administrative environment
- Proficiency with dental software such as Eaglesoft or Dentrix; familiarity with EMR/EHR systems like Epic or eClinicalWorks is highly desirable
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations, medical terminology, medical records management, and healthcare compliance standards
- Strong fiscal management skills including budgeting, financial management, and managed care processes
- Excellent communication skills for patient interactions as well as team leadership roles
- Experience with office management tasks such as human resources administration and clinic workflow optimization
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and professionalism
