Dental Practice Manager

Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and highly organized Dental Practice Manager to lead our dental clinic to excellence. This energetic role involves overseeing daily operations, managing staff, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations, and optimizing the patient experience. Responsibilities

  • Manage all aspects of clinic operations, including scheduling, patient flow, and administrative workflows to ensure smooth daily functions.
  • Supervise dental and administrative staff, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations to foster a motivated team.
  • Oversee fiscal management by budgeting, financial reporting, and implementing cost-control measures to maximize practice profitability.
  • Maintain compliance with HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act) regulations and other healthcare standards to protect patient confidentiality and legal adherence.
  • Utilize dental practice management software ( Open Dental) to manage patient records, appointment scheduling, billing, and electronic health records (EHR).
  • Coordinate with insurance providers for managed care plans and verify insurance benefits using Vyne Dental
  • Ensure high-quality patient care by supporting clinical staff with medical administrative support and managing Dental records efficiently.
  • Implement human resources policies including hiring, onboarding, training, and conflict resolution within the team.
  • Monitor clinic performance metrics related to patient satisfaction, operational efficiency, and financial health to identify areas for improvement.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in dental office management or healthcare management with strong supervisory skills.{ minimum 5 years experience in dental field )
  • Extensive knowledge of dental office systems ( open Dental) for managing electronic health records (EHR) systems.
  • Demonstrated expertise in fiscal management including budgeting, financial reporting, and cost control strategies.
  • Familiarity with HIPAA regulations, medical terminology, medical records management, and healthcare compliance standards such as JCAHO accreditation requirements.
  • Experience with office management tasks including scheduling, human resources functions, and medical administrative support.
  • Strong understanding of dental clinic workflows along with experience in medical administrative support roles within a healthcare setting.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead a team effectively while maintaining positive relationships with patients and staff alike.

Pay: $60,808.93 - $100,000.00 per year
