Dental Treatment Coordinator

Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Dental Treatment Coordinator to join our dynamic team. In this vital role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for patients regarding treatment plans, insurance coordination, and scheduling. Your enthusiasm for clear communication and excellent customer service will help ensure a smooth patient experience from consultation through treatment completion.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the main liaison between patients, clinical team, and insurance companies to coordinate treatment plans and financial arrangements
  • Check patients in to the practice and collect any out-of-pocket fees due from patients
  • Verify patient insurance benefits, build accurate insurance information, and respond promptly to insurance EOB (Explanation of Benefits) requests
  • Post payments accurately and update insurance information in the practice management system
  • Educate patients on their treatment options, financial responsibilities, and insurance coverage to facilitate informed decision-making
  • Schedule appointments efficiently while managing patient flow to optimize office productivity
  • Maintain detailed records of patient interactions, insurance claims, and payment histories
  • Occasionally participation in marketing campaigns

Qualifications

  • Prior experience in a dental office setting is highly preferred
  • Strong knowledge of dental procedures and ADA procedure codes
  • Proven ability to provide excellent medical administrative support with attention to detail
  • Office experience demonstrating proficiency with practice management software and scheduling systems
  • Experience using Microsoft Office Applications
  • Experience using a Dental Production System (Dentrix, EagleSoft, etc.)
  • Familiarity with dental office operations and insurance processes is a plus
  • Positive attitude, reliability, and strong communication skills are essential for success in this role
  • Spanish speaker is a plus

Pay: $24.00 - $30.00 per hour
